Nervous System Reset Coaching

Your body isn't overreacting — it's overprotecting.

When you’ve lived through stress, trauma, or relational harm, your nervous system adapts to survive. You may find yourself constantly anxious, numb, on edge, disconnected, or exhausted — not because you’re broken, but because your body has been trying to keep you safe.

Nervous System Reset is a 8-week trauma-informed somatic coaching program designed to help you reconnect with your body, understand your stress responses, and gently build your capacity to feel safe, grounded, and in control.

A Clear Path to Healing

This program is built to meet you where you are — whether you're just starting to explore your attachment style or you're ready to do deeper work around nervous system regulation, boundaries, and emotional repair.

We offer individual and group coaching options to support different learning styles, budgets, and healing needs.

Hi, I'm Shikha

And I’ll be your facilitator and coach as you move toward secure attachment. In addition to my work as a coach, I’m also a psychotherapist in Ontario, CA specializing in somatic therapy, narcissistic abuse recovery, attachment wounds and repair, and couples counselling.

For many years, I showed up in relationships with anxious attachment. I was labeled “needy” or “too much,” felt guilty for setting boundaries, and found myself drawn to people who couldn’t meet me. Through years of training in attachment, trauma, and nervous system regulation, I’ve come to understand that attachment wounds aren’t fixed — they’re adaptive, and they can heal.

We can’t control how others show up. But we can learn to relate from a place of self-trust, emotional safety, and grounded connection — and that’s what this work is all about. This work won’t be a walk in the park, but it’s worth it!

Why Nervous System Regulation Matters?

Nervous system regulation is essential because it forms the foundation of how we feel, think, connect, and respond to life. When your nervous system is dysregulated — stuck in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn — it becomes hard to feel safe, make clear decisions, or maintain healthy relationships.Your nervous system is the command center of your emotional, physical, and relational life. It constantly scans your environment for safety or threat — and responds automatically, even before you’re consciously aware of it. When your nervous system is balanced and regulated, you feel grounded, present, and capable of responding to life with clarity and calm. But when it’s dysregulated — which is common after trauma, chronic stress, or unstable relationships — it can leave you feeling anxious, shut down, overwhelmed, or emotionally reactive.

Here’s why learning to regulate your nervous system is life-changing:

Mental & Emotional Health

A regulated nervous system improves your ability to manage anxiety, depression, and emotional highs and lows. Instead of reacting impulsively or shutting down, you begin to notice what’s happening in your body and respond with intention. It supports clearer thinking, better sleep, and greater emotional awareness.

Stronger Relationships

When your body feels safe, you can show up more fully in your relationships. You’re better able to set boundaries without fear, stay connected during conflict, and express your needs without guilt or collapse. Regulation helps repair attachment wounds and supports healthier relational dynamics.

Trauma Healing

Talk therapy is valuable, but trauma lives in the body. If your nervous system still perceives danger — even in safe situations — healing can feel stuck. Somatic and nervous system work helps your body learn that it’s safe now, allowing deeper emotional healing to take root.

Physical Well-being

Chronic dysregulation can contribute to fatigue, inflammation, tension, digestive issues, and immune dysfunction. Regulation brings the body out of survival mode, supporting better overall health and energy.

Breaking Old Patterns

Unhealed stress responses often keep us repeating patterns — staying in toxic relationships, people-pleasing, or avoiding conflict. Nervous system regulation creates space to pause, reflect, and choose differently — not just react.
